Later, Matty invites Ned into her home and manipulates him into killing her older husband, Edmund (Richard Crenna). Matty uses Ned because she believes that his legal expertise will ensure not getting caught. But, unplanned events turn the "easy" killing into something else, and Matty and Ned become prime suspects. A real sizzler by Lawrence Kasdan.

Naturally, this is the beginning of their own affair.

Lemuel Gulliver (Ted Danson) returns home to Mary (Mary Steenburgen) after a long absence and acts out his wild adventures that include the tiny Lilliputians, the huge Brobdingnags, the Laputas (the no-common-sense scientists), and the intelligent horses surrounded by wild humans.

Eight comrades, led by Capt. John H. Miller (Tom Hanks), set off on the dangerous mission of finding that fourth brother, Private Ryan (Matt Damon), and sending him home and out of harm's way. Spielberg won his second Director Oscar, and nominations included Best Picture and Actor (Tom Hanks). In all, the film won five Oscars and was nominated for six others.
