  Five-hundred pages of script, no money to get it produced, nor enough money to pay the rent on his sleazy NYC tenement is the plight of Aldolpho (Steve Buscemi). He's also interested in his standoffish neighbor Angelica (Jennifer Beals). Aldolpho advertises in the hopes of finding a backer, and his ad is answered by Joe (Seymour Cassel), a con artist. Together they search for money–often using illegal means–in this dark comedy.
