  This story revolves around two sailors, Joe Brady (Gene Kelly) and Clarence Doolittle (Frank Sinatra), on shore leave who help aspiring singer Susan Abbott (Kathryn Grayson) get an audition. Love blooms between Joe and Susan. The highlight of this film is Kelly's dance with the animated mouse, Jerry. Among the nominations this film received for Academy Awards were Best Picture, Actor (Gene Kelly), Cinematography, and Song ("I Fall in Love Too Easily"). It won for Best Musical Score.

  This good, tense mystery starts with Frank Bigelow (Edmond O'Brien) walking into the police station to report his own murder. He had gone to San Francisco for a week on the town before his marriage. But, he gets poisoned, and the doctor says he has but a week to live and no known antidote exists. He sets out to discover who did it and why. Remade in 1969 as "Color Me Dead" and again in 1988.

  Led by their tour guide Charlie (Ian McShane), American tourists embark on an 18-day vacation in Europe during which time they visit many cities and countries on the whirlwind tour. While busy leading them to many landmarks, Charlie still has time to fall in love with one of his tourists, Samantha (Suzanne Pleshette). But, the romance ends as quickly as it started when Samantha decides that Charlie is too immature for her taste. Meanwhile, others in the tour group have theirown emotional ups and downs as they GO, GO, GO.

  While attending a mayors' conference in San Francisco, Steve Fisk (Clark Gable) and Clarissa Standish (Loretta Young) find that there is more than business-as-usual when the convention turns rowdy. Romance blossoms between the two, and, following the convention, Steve and Clarissa go to Steve's hometown in northern California where Clarissa helps Steve in his bid for reelection against crooked politician Les Taggart (Raymond Burr).
