  Professor of Forensic Psychology Jack Gramm (Al Pacino) testified against Jon Forster (Neal McDonough) at his murder trial nine years ago. Forster has claimed ever since that he is innocent. On the eve of Forster's execution, the Seattle police find an identical crime to the one Forster has been found guilty of, and the F.B.I. has information that the victim was one of Gramm's students. Now, Gramm receives a threat that he has only 88 minutes left to live, and he must use his own forensic skills and those of his cohorts in order to save his own life.
