Good early special effects and a glimmer of what would lie ahead in the monster world (e.g. Godzilla).

Diamond makes one last attempt to bring the boss to justice by soliciting the help of the boss's girlfriend (Jean Wallace) whom Diamond also loves. Matters heat up, and, as in life, the distinction between good and bad is not always clear.

Douglas has learned a lesson and questions whether his act of private lynching is any better than that of murder.

Sabata not only refuses to pay the taxes, he enlists Clyde and acrobats (Aldo Canti and Vassili Karis) from the circus to help rob the bank. The money turns out to be counterfeit, but the gold is hidden on McIntock's property. The next step is to find the gold, kill McIntock, and steal the fortune. This film is a sequel to "Sabata" and "Adios, Sabata."

Sabata (Lee Van Cleef) rides into town, tracks down the robbers, and collects the reward. Then he realizes that Stengel was behind the theft and attempts to blackmail him, which leads Stengel to hire assassins to kill Sabata. But, Sabata outwits them, kills Stengel, and rides out of town. This spaghetti Western spawned two sequels, "Adios, Sabata" and "The Return of Sabata."

Luckily, he has a perfect nursemaid–Clarisse (Karen Black) to help him recover. One of Lee Van Cleef's weaker films.
