While doing so, the unhappy youth utters that he wished his dad would disappear–and dad becomes invisible. While Dad tries to cope with that, Doug tries to fix the machine. Yuk.

As the two search for answers, the migrating spiders approach the town, where the townsfolk become the next delicacy in the spiders' food chain. Interesting tongue-in-cheek humor and background music contribute to the film.
