How Sweet It Is! 1968 N/R, 97 min. Genre: Comedy
Director: Jerry Paris Cast: James Garner, Debbie Reynolds, Maurice Ronet, Paul Lynde, Gino Conforti, Patty Regan, Terry-Thomas, Marcel Dalio, Donald Losby, Hilary Thompson, Alexandra Hay, Mary Mitchael, Walter Brooke, Ann Morgan Guilbert, Don Diamond
When teenager Davey (Donald Losby) is unhappy because his girlfriend is going to Europe on a summer tour, his mother, Jenny (Debbie Reynolds), is concerned. She talks her photographer husband, Grif (James Garner), into taking an assignment to cover the tour so that she and Davey can join him, and Davey will be able to stay close to the girl. When they arrive in Paris, Grif and Davey follow the tour, while Jenny rents a Riviera villa. There is a mix-up with the villa because Jenny is swindled by Mr. Tilly (Terry-Thomas), and the house is really owned by French playboy Phillipe (Maurice Ronet). Phillipe invites Jenny to stay in his home and then tries to charm her. Meanwhile, tour guide Nancy Leigh (Mary Mitchael) is attracted to Grif, but, after a major confrontation, Jenny and Grif reconcile.

Director: Arthur Hiller Cast: Peter O'Toole, Sophia Loren, James Coco, Harry Andrews, John Castle, Brian Blessed, Ian Richardson, Gino Conforti, Marne Maitland, Rosalie Crutchley
This musical version of Don Quixote is one Broadway success that fails miserably in its transition to the screen. 1 User Review

Thumbelina 1994 G, 86 min. Genre: Animation / Family / Drama / Fantasy
Director: Don Bluth, Gary Goldman Cast: Jodi Benson, Carol Channing, Gary Imhoff, Charo, Gino Conforti, John Hurt, Kenneth Mars, Gilbert Gottfried, Will Ryan, June Foray, Barbara Cook, Joe Lynch, Danny Mann, Loren Lester, Tawny Sunshine Glover
This version of Hans Christian Anderson's tale of the tiny Tumbelina (voice of Jodi Benson) is cleverly put together as our little heroine avoids many dangers. The voices of the cartoon characters are good, and Barry Manilow's music is a strength. 1 User Review

| | the girls will love it | Anonymous 03/05/2011 | Its a wonderful story for young girls. This IS NOT a baby movie (though babies can watch it too) but I say this because our children are becomming SO callosed at such a young age that a film like this my not hold the attention of the average 10 yr old.
It is a good movie and has fun songs. |
