Sidney Preston (Tom Bosley) is dining at the Apache Acres Motel and Diner when he suffers a heart attack and, gasping for his last breath, tells fellow travelers at the diner that he has stolen $4 million. He gives them clues of four locations where he has stashed the money, and all who hear him take off in search of the money. As a promotion for the film, sponsors offered $1 million to the first person to correctly spot where the money is located. There were over 300,000 entrants, and 15-year-old Alesia Jones won the prize.
