a movie that truly shows not just true heroes but, true sacrangel 04/19/2007
this movie not only shows true heroes but, true sacrifice. Matthew broderick's role as colonial robert shaw was wonderful. I think he fit the part very well. You can understand what he's feeling. Despite a lot of the sergents/majors that don't treat the black troops the respect they should get, robert continues to work with them & become the best troops they can be. Denzel washington's part was good as well as morgan fredom, and some on cary elwes part as robert's friend. I clearly give this 10 points. The music is always wonderful & goes well with the movie. I felt heartfelt
& touched by the flim & I hope you will enjoy it too. Thank you. And as robert said "may god bless us all.

Women vs. Men   2002     1 and a half stars    R, 88 min.
Genre: Comedy
Director: Chazz Palminteri
Cast: Joe Mantegna, Christine Lahti, Paul Reiser, Glenne Headly, Robert Pastorelli, Jennifer Coolidge, Jon Polito, Edward Zwick, Marshall Herskovitz, Dayton Callie

The battle of the sexes hits the screen for the umpteenth time in this made-for-cable TV offering. Rather than liking the Cadillac that husband Michael (Joe Mantegna) brings home to Dana (Christine Lahti), she walks out. His best friend, Bruce (Paul Reiser), thinks it is because Michael reminds her of her father. It also comes to light that his other friends seem to be having similar problems with their wives. So, why not go to a strip joint? Michael and Bruce go, and, of course, Dana follows them, reports back to Bruce's wife (Glenne Headly), and the two await the men's return. When they arrive, bickering continues. But, of course, all things get patched up–eventually.
