Skeeter entertains them with bedtime stories in which he fantasizes about a better life. Amazingly, the stories come true, and Skeeter tries to use the stories for his own personal gain. Then he learns that it is the children's contributions to the stories that end up coming true, and Patrick and Bobbi have much to do with Skeeter's good–and bad–fortunes.

whomever came up with this premise for the movie must be a little strange but fun.
do not buy this if you are a conservative christian though, it may offend some.

After the fire department sends an inspector (Steve Buscemi) to investigate the "marriage," Chuck and Larry hire a lawyer, Alex McDonough (Jessica Biel). Alex believes their story and recommends that they go to Canada where they can be legally wed because in Canada gay marriage is legal. And, of course, gay jokes prevail throughout the film.
