 Bret Easton Ellis' 1991 satirical novel about the lack of morality on Wall Street in the 1980s features Christian Bale as the young Yuppie who goes to work and, apparently, does nothing but watch TV, make dinner reservations, and listen to pop ballads. It is the nighttime scene at which he excels: macabre acts of sex, violence, and murder.

His boss (at the magazine called "Bruiser") is having an affair with Henry's wife, and his best friend and advisor is ripping him off. One day Henry awakens to find that he has no face–just a blank whiteness where the face belongs. Now he can get revenge on those who have wronged him. A sort of fun tongue-in-cheeker with a social message.

A slightly different take on the teen slasher genre.

The wounds heal quickly, and things begin to happen to her–like growing a tail. A pretty good thriller.
